The djo- Landesverband Sachsen e.V. cordially invites you to a day hike in Saxon Switzerland with the Educat Kollektiv.
The hike will focus on the local camp system from 1933-1945. We will look at the system of early concentration camps using the example of Hohnstein Castle and hike to the late concentration camp Schwalbe III. The hike starts at the S-Bahn station in the spa town of Rathen and we will walk over the Hockstein to the Polenztal. The hike ends back in Rathen and covers 12 km.
You will need good shoes and enough food and water for the hike.

Meeting point: 10:30 a.m. on the right-hand side of the Elbe (you will have to cross the Elbe by ferry).
End of tour: 6pm in Rathen
Length: 12 km
Language: German. If you need translation, just let us know when you register.

Interested volunteers and active multipliers in migrant youth self-administration and youth (association) workers.
Participation fee: Free of charge, travel costs up to 30 euros can be reimbursed.
